The breakfast was great, there were typical Portuguese dishes to try. The young employee in the breakfast room was very friendly and welcoming. My room had a minibar, a kettle and a very comfortable bed. Because the hotel is on a side …
Our superior double room with a balcony looked great at first glance but we later discovered the walls around the windows were covered in mold which also explains the slightly funky smell in the room.
We hardly got any sleep on the first night as there was loud sounds from everywhere transferring through the really thin walls and when we finally did, we were awaken early by the church bell ringing often right outside the window.
We asked to be moved to a quieter room and they moved us to a room facing the hotel terrace (open to everyone). After visiting the terrace we realised that the blinds they have covering the bathroom windows allow clear views into the bathroom, making it really uncomfortable to use from that point on.
The hotel is located on top of a steep hill making it very hard to reach with luggage or if you have any health conditions.
Neighbourhood feels unsafe.
The hospitality of the people working there is worth a 5 star. Especially Pedro! |When I first got there and was introduced to my room - (that was on the ground floor) |and I thought it smelled moldy. This got listened to immediatly and I …
Not so clean, especially for the buffet place, if you visit it in the afternoon, you can find flies around. The customer service was generally good. The location made me suffer a bit. If you were new to the city like me and visit the hotel after taking the public transportation, then with a high likelihood you would have to climb all the way up to the peak of this hill.. what a pain
This truly is a great hotel within Lisbon. It has so much character and style that I personally love, from the doors when you first enter, to the wide hallways and stairs. Every part including the bedrooms just a boutique style to them.
Every single member of staff is lovely, helpful and very informative.
The only thing that needs a bit more attention are the bathrooms but they are still of a good quality. And Id you don’t like hills then this hotel (we’ll all of Lisbon actually) won’t be for you.
But it was a very, very good hotel.
My wife and I absolutely loved staying at the Quinta Colina during our recent vacation to Portugal in June 2023. The location is a close walk to downtown, the rooms and facility are charming with a wonderful rooftop patio overlooking the city, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations for a boutique hotel. Most importantly, the staff are exceptional. Both Alex and Daniel were very friendly and super helpful with all of our questions about getting around Lisbon. Would highly recommend staying here.
Really great accommodation in Lisbon , spent only one night here but wish I had spent more. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and big and had a great view of the city . The breakfast in the morning was lovely. Would recommend staying here
Central location, the guesthouse is unique and beautiful. Room was quite small, there were a lot of choices for breakfast but hot food was served cold.
